Working Process of Laser Cleaning Machine

The workflow of a laser cleaning machine is a delicate and multi-step process, the core of which is to use laser technology to achieve efficient and environmentally friendly cleaning.

1. Setting the cleaning object:

First, determine the object to be cleaned and place it in the working space of the laser cleaning machine. These objects may include metal components, stones, coatings, and various stubborn stains.

2. Laser source activation:

Next, the laser cleaning machine activates its internal laser source to generate high-intensity pulsed lasers. These laser pulses may be nanosecond, picosecond, or femtosecond, with extremely high energy density.

3. Laser focusing:

The laser beam is focused to a very small point through a precision optical system (such as a lens or a reflector) to form a high-energy spot. This spot is a key part of the cleaning operation.

4. Laser interaction with the surface:

When the high-energy laser beam is irradiated on the target surface, it will interact with the dirt, coating or impurities on the surface. This action is usually manifested as the evaporation of dirt or the burning/oxidation of the coating, causing it to fall off the surface.

5. Verification of cleaning effect:

After cleaning, the operator will check the target surface to ensure that all dirt and coatings have been completely removed and the surface is clean again.

6. Residue treatment:

The laser cleaning machine is usually equipped with an airflow or vacuum system to remove the stripped dirt and impurities in time to prevent them from attaching to the target surface again.

7. Cooling and drying:

After cleaning, the target surface will be cooled and dried to ensure that it is in the best condition.

The advantages of laser cleaning machines are significant. It does not require direct contact with the object to be cleaned, has high cleaning accuracy and efficiency, and does not use any chemicals or cleaning agents, so it is environmentally friendly and suitable for cleaning of various materials.
